SDTC Metro - 2025 Tuesday Summer Workouts
During the summer, we hit the trails of Balboa Park for our SDTC Metro Workouts. See the workout details below.
Time: Tuesdays @ 6 PM
Location: 6th Ave & Olive St - meet on the grass
Tuesday, June 3
8 x 400’s (2:00 rest)
Tuesday, June 10th
Tempo Run: 20 min at a pace 20 seconds faster than full and/or half marathon pace
Tuesday, June 17
3 X 1200 repeats at 45 seconds/mile faster than full and/or half marathon pace
Tuesday, June 24th
3 x 1 mile within a 10-minute Time Frame including your recovery between intervals. You choose the type of workout you do; however, both your Mile run interval and recovery must be completed by the 10-minute mark before you begin your next mile repeat. All intervals are at 5K pace. Suggested workouts could be 4x400 or 2x800 or 8 x 200’s and/or 16 x 100’s.
